Well,Barack may have actually been right to say that concerning Hillary because politicians are subject to say or do just about anything to get elected. Every time an election rolls around I can guarantee you that politicians in all political parties will lie about something in an attempt to increase their chances to be elected or reelected. So,Obama was most likely speaking the truth concerning Hillary and there is nothing dumb about that. Actually,it is smart of Obama to try to end partisan bickering by encouraging people on both sides to put aside at least some of their differences concerning healthcare reform and compromise enough to get it passed. He was not encouraging people to shut up or not exercise their freedom of speech but encouraging them to not let petty squabbling or partisanship wreck any chances of achieving much needed healthcare reform in this country. I think the media does a good job of giving all politicians a hard time for the dumb or wrong things they say and that the media has been no easier on Barack than it was on George W. Bush who made many times more dumb statements as Barack may have made. Do not believe me? Go on YouTube and use words like "George W. Bush goofs" or something of that nature. However,so far,you have failed to give one example of Barack saying something that was clearly dumb. Take care and God bless.
